Headteacher's blog - week ending 07/07/2019
08 Jul 2019
Dear Parent/Carer,
There are just 2 more weeks until the end of the summer term and we break up for the holidays. I hope that you are planning to have a great summer with your families and friends.
Last week the children met their new class teachers for 2019 – 2020 and learnt their new class names. There was lots of excitement amongst the children and it is brilliant to see so many of them looking forward to going into the next year.
On Friday, staff and children wore pink in order to raise money for Cancer Research UK and show support towards staff members who took part in the weekend’s Race for Life. Thank you to those who kindly donated.
This week, we will be having Sports Day on Wednesday. A letter has been sent home with all children indicating the colours they should wear. If you are unsure, please get in touch with the class teacher.
There are also various trips taking place this week including the Year 1’s visiting the Tower of London, the Year 4 end of year trip to the cinema and the Year 3 children will be attending Kidzania.
I hope you have a good week and I look forward to seeing you all soon.
Mr Chetty.
