Headteacher's blog - week ending 08/03/2019
09 Mar 2019
Dear Parent/Carer,
It has been another fantastically busy week at Downsell Primary School.
All week, we celebrated World Book Week and all classes have been doing different activities in class.
On Tuesday, the Year 3 and 4 boys attended a football tournament at Goals. They had a brilliant day.
On Thursday, we had a local police officer visit the school to talk to our Year 3 children about being safe.
We also participated in the World Book Day dress up day. The children all looked amazing. There were supermen, fairies, pirates, willy wonkas and harry potters walking around the corridors!
Lastly, we ended the week with a visit from Zoo Lab in the build up to Science Week next week. The children were visited by frogs, snails and spiders!
All in all, it was a busy week and there was a lovely buzz around the school.
See you all at the gates on Monday. Have a restful weekend.
Mr Chetty
