Everybody writes - A Robbery!

Lauren - 02 Feb 2023

Excited about writing!

Once a month, the whole school partakes in 'Everybody writes'. There is a hook that sparks the children's interest which they then write about. In January, it was a school robbery in Mr Chetty's office. The children went to look at the crime scene and were able to watch CCTV footage and speak to witnesses. The teacher wrote notes of the evidence that the children found and wrote down who they thought was responsible. They then had a go at writing a police report to help the officers.
