What is the School Council?

What is our School Council?
Our School Council is a group of children who meet with Mrs Britton to talk about issues and ideas affecting the daily life of the school. Our School Council consists of 2 members (one boy and one girl) from each class, starting at Year 1 through to Year 6.
Why do we have a School Council?
Having an effective School Council, which involves the whole school, is beneficial to the whole community and also individuals as it gives everyone involved in school a voice. It helps our school develop into a caring community where pupils, teachers and parents/carers work in partnership towards shared goals.
